I tend to like ZTs shorter blades like the Hooligan or the Vakra.

I also tend to like there stuff but like you this one isn't grabbing me.
As a side note I noticed that ZT are now also offering leather scabbards and they look pretty reasonable.

I'm not a boy, but I'm going to reply anyway. I have the Diphos. I love it. If I could afford it, I would get this one. I lean toward two-handed swords (although the BBW is technically a hand and a half. I have small hands.). I'm real pleased with how my diphos handles, I would definitely purchase another from ZT.

I'm a huge ZT fan I have about 10 pieces now, and the BBW is not doing it for me either...I just think all they had to do was lengthen the handle on the Ferrous Wolf a bit and they'd have a winner.

I don't mind the look of it. Nice finish but i prefer the Ferrous Wolf. My faves are the Rat Bastard and Reaver Cleaver.

I think what kills it visually is simply the ends of the guard. They really should be at right angles with the guard, not parallel with the blade.
It's a very little thing, but little things can matter a lot, dagnabbit!
