Git yer Orc on! When meat is back on the menu this orc-inspired cleaver is sure to be a big help even if dinner is still , uh, actively resisting your plans. The 12 inch blade is 2 inches wide at the base and 3 inches at the spike. It features a slightly convex grind from the spine to the cutting edge. The 5160 spring steel is straight from heat treat and tempering, complete with a bit of carbon scale here and there. It's rough, but Orcs like it rough. I mean that's what I'm told-- I've never... never mind. The full-profile tang is flaked by wood scales dyed brown with leather straps crisscrossed around it for a better grip when things get messy. The handle terminates in (or with) a hardened-steel skull-crusher. OAL is 22-3/4 inches, weight is 2-1/4 pounds. Yes, this is a 'fantasy' piece but that doesn't mean it isn't fully functional and ready for serious work around the yard, in the woods or on the trail. Sheath- I'm open to ideas. Asking price is $400.

Aaaaaw, man, if I hadn't just ordered a bunch of other sword stuff... and yet, I'm still tempted. But I really shouldn't! Damn this whole being a borderline responsible adult person business...

MOK- you need be tempted no more- this one has sold. Chris- I am irregularly making swords again, but not anything like full-time. Still not taking cutom orders because I can't be certain of my ability to deliver on them. For now I am playing catch-up and making what I can when I can.

Very happy to hear from you again here as well.

Smileys don't always work, I use them all the time and I still get in trouble. Can't understand it.
