Hey gents, here are some high-res pics of my new DSA Guardian sent to me at a very nice price from Eyal for compensating frustrations from MANY earlier troubles; they are definitely improving their blades! You can see that clearly here, especially if you have owned the earlier crappier stuff! KOA also has new listings which show totally different blade shapes, weights and measurements on DSA models. Still a little too overpriced IMHO...

That sword reminds me of the band Danzig.

I have a Guardian sword... while attractive its a monstrously heavy crowbar. Is yours lighter/better balanced?

Looks good (by good I mean dangerously tempting). Their designs looked nice, and I always wished that their blades matched teir aesthetics. Looks like they finally managed that

That is considerably lighter... I would love to handle that and see how it compares to mine.

Still heavy for its size...blade still thicker than necessary...but much more wieldable...

I've been there as well... in Bavaria mostly in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Munich. It was amazing.

Go, Germany :D Those do look considerably better than the DSA I'm used to. The stats look good, as do the overall proportions. Now the question is if the actual handling and performance match the promises. I'm especially doubtful of that dual-tempering... if they actually deliver 60Rc at the edge and a softer core, that would be incredible. Someone should do a review with harsh testing ;)

Did two weeks---first week in Bayern (Bavaria) und the second week in Berlin. Got to go to Octoberfest in Munich---now THAT was a feast for the ages!

Someone should do a review with harsh testing ;) I would love to. I was impressed with some of the improvements with the Gothic Two Handed sword... but it still had some issues. These other ones are more advanced still. Would love to get my hands on some of them... the New Guardian would be a treat because I could do something of a side by side with the old one.

The new specs have me intrigued as well, very curious about the new Sword of Feanor. Glad you finally had a good experience with DSA, Holg.

The last one I bought had one of their newer blades. It was the Longford model. Review is in the Review Index.
