Hello all.I've just finished with the latest sword sent to me from Jacky at SwordnArmory for test/review.Its a well made sword and a good deal in a market that doesn't offer many options for this blade style. And not at all whippy or fragile like the Yuki. Review video

Nice to see this option out there. I know someone who got one of these and they enjoy it. Looks like you enjoyed it too. Funny part in the cutting video where you comment "plastic filled water bottles"

Been loving watching your videos lately. Seen you put a lot of hours into practice in your spare time and I respect that. Would you say this sword is like handling one of those jingums?

You could send it to me and and I could compare it with my MAS jingum hehehe. Did you try it on some small bamboo?

Very nice cutting as usual... also like whitefeathers, I'm interested if you tried it on small bamboo.

Nice looking sword and great cutting, John! I really like that cutting stand. I need some attachments like that for my stand, especially the diagonal spike for Shomen giri cuts

I know a couple of guys who own this sword and they're pretty happy with it. Ive used one and it definitely aint no yuki like jw said its more stout with different blade geometry. Ive seen the guys cut small green bamboo without issue so far and one guy uses his to cut rolled soaked newspaper with no trouble, but I suppose if he botches a cut it might take damage. I might order one aswell I think they are a decent mat cutter.

I really like the format of your videos. I think you do a really solid job on reviewing the blade and testing it. They inspire me to try and look like less of an baseball bat swinger in the videos I make.
Tip of my hat to you sir!

White feathers and LG-No I didn't get a chance to try it on small bamboo. Its winter here and I just felt the bam is too hard and dry right now to test a sword that isn't even rated for hard targets.I feel confident the blade will handle small green bamboo( of this winter stuff). And a comparison of this sword and your MAS,would be,well shall we say unfair WF?Hahaha
