That's some fine cuttin', Rick. 'cept for the bit at about 2:00, oops. Looks like that thing handles pretty well. I see you're trying out reverse cuts. Still giving you trouble sometimes, eh? You'll get 'em in no time.
Nice sword, you've got me interested in it now.

Glad to see you're enjoying yours. It is indeed a nice sword. I notice you were doing mostly onehanded cuts..... since the sword was meant to be onehanded anyways. I enjoy holding it two hands more..... so much more comfortable for me.
I too took it out for cutting. I only cut one single tatami mat though. I looked in my closet and I have just a few mats left, time to call Dave at Mugen Dachi. =)

Vay, it cuts really good, I like one handed and I think this one feels good to me. I been cutting one handed with a gen2 12th century some and this one is a lot easier to use. Still, I need two hands to try those reverse cuts and there is enough room for that too. Yeah, I like it.

Nice cutting, Ric. Are you going to do a review of this sword? I have been curious about that one. How sharp did it come? single bevel edge? Fit and finish? I would love to know what you think of it over all.

I wasn't going to, Anthony, since Vay had already posted his. After using it a bit tho I like it so much I think I will when I get a chance. As to you questions, it came paper cutting sharp right out of the box, single bevel and I could find no flaws in the fit and finish, as per my other two KC blades.
