Um, does Randomnobody ever post here at SBG? Seldom, only when he's really bored.

New Forum....threads should be in New2Old order. But they are not. Ugh! RinC

Hi Random, I'll bite...how you get posts showing in New2Old order? (Hopefully not because of your admittedly nicer personality) Us NYC-borners are handicapped thus. RinC

I'm honestly not sure what you mean, really. On the main page, subforums are arranged via the standard layout. Within subforums, threads with the newest post are at the top of the list, with older-new-post threads listing in descending order. This is normal, for me, at least.
Are you suggesting that within a thread the newest reply be the first thing one sees? That seems wrong to me, so I would say "please, no." But if your threads in a subforum are showing older posts first or in any old random order, I don't know what's going on there, but it's not happening for me. :S

Hi Random, On my screen, I see mixed order re. dates. Old Forum, the threads were sorted new to old by date of last post. Now? All over the place. Sigh. RinC

Weird. Mine are still showing new to old by last post. Don't know what's going on over on your end.

Robert, the first few threads are "stickied" and thus usually an older date, but after you get past those they should begin the newest to oldest listing. Are you possibly getting confused by the older stickies? Just a thought.

Admittedly, the thought crossed my mind, but I wanted to think our friend Rob wasn't so easily deceived. Glad it's resolved, though.

I don't know if this is what you're talking about Robert but I just cliked the thread title, from the index page, and it brought me to somewhere in the middle of page 9. I then went back to the index page and clicked the same title again and it brought me to the last post made on the last page. This has happened many times on different thread titles.

Overall, even after some settling & get to know it time, the new site is a bust with me. I may pop in periodically, just for a look; but I doubt I'll resume posting. Best wishes to all.

What the...! This place got all different! If it bothers you, you can go to your Profile, click the Edit Profile button, go to the Settings tab and change the Forum Theme to the old one.
