Hey everyone!
Welcome to the SBG Consolidated sword forum! I hope you like it..!
We have addressed almost all the issues that plagued the old forum(s), rolled them into one, and now are up and running. While we have taken a lot of care to make sure that everything runs smoothly and that all internal links, post counts (consolidated with the old and new forum!) and avatars, etc all work, if there are any problems please report them in this thread and we will do our best to get them fixed.
The first thing you will note is for security reasons you will need to reset your password. So simply click the "forgot" your password link and you will be sent an email to the address you signed up on so you can reset it.
In second thing you will note is that the forum has a new look. If you don't like it you can log into your profile and select a different one, there are only a few in there at the moment, one similar to the old look and feel and one quite neautral, but more will be added as we go, so again, any comments or ideas on that please let me know in this thread and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Don't forget to change your bookmark so you can navigate to our new address.
I think that is about it for now, so anything else - let us know in this thread!
Thanks all, hope you like the place!
- Paul

Nice new look! I recall the warning a few days back that new posts would get lost, does that remain true? I posted a couple long walk-throughs and a review, I have the text saved so I can repost them but don't want to wind up with a double post if they're going to get restored!
Again, nice job, hope the new forum works out well!

There is no more Karma as far as I have seen. How else am I supposed to feel superior to Chris?

My old account "glenville86" did not merge.
Moderator status shows but not listed differently than other mods.
Multiple mods left over from previous forums. Some mutiple accounts.
I do not seem to have any permissions to moderate. Same with Adrian. Other mods have not checked in yet to verify.

For those of us with user names that have spaces in them, you'll have to use the "forgot password" function using your name crammed together without spaces.
Please note that the new forum software violates the previous privacy policy by revealing people's email addresses to the public. That's pretty terrible.

Nathan points out 2 very important things.
Due to the email issue I have not yet signed in to the new forum I am posting this as a guest. Not sure I want my email public like that as I already get a lot of spam. That needs to be addressed ASAP in my opinion.
Also good to know about the spaces in your user name...need to remove those when logging in it sounds like.

Is there a "new posts since last visit" button anywhere? Down towards the bottom of the Home page there is a "recent posts" and "recent threads" link that should give you what you want.

My classifieds posting from yesterday seems to be missing....will I have to repost this? They had to make a final cut time-wise on the old forum. I would say anything missing will need reposted.
