The ebay sellers who have the cheap Chinese traditional-style recurves (i.e., horsebows) sometimes have bow cases: www.ebay.com.au/itm/Handmade-Arc ... 1508410289 Or: www.bowshop.eu/?term=63I don't know what good search terms are. "Bow case" and "bow quiver" are flooded with the modern things of those names. Best to find somebody who sells the bows, and see if they have bow cases.

There's always DIY. Heavy leather, cut to fit your bow, based on photos of commercial ones (or antique ones). Or stiff but somewhat flexible plastic sheet, and you'll be more moisture-proof (cover with cloth if it's too ugly naked). Or heavy cloth and some stiffening. Given that pretty ugly ones cost about $100, DIY looks attractive. For the moment, my bows live on a rack. Some nice pics of Manchu/Qing bow cases: www.manchuarchery.org/qing-bow-cases-quivers

Yeah I reckon I'll diy it I'm not too bad at making stuff, may not be pretty but it sure will be functional ! Actually my idea is to make one that can attach to my back quiver via leather thongs :-) now that I know what I'm looking at I'm sure I can emulate it
