Did you pm one of the mods? Reported through the settings for the post and now a third notice by me in posting the issue. AFAIK, the reporting function is there for a reason. If the mods don't care, they could post to the issue or pm me themselves. Or business as usual

Thanks for the reports, edelweiss.
Paul Block: It is okay to come on here to discuss your product, but do so as a registered member, please. If you wish to advertise or recommend it then you may need to apply for a Manufacturers & Vendors status here. Both are pretty easy processes. I will leave your post up in this thread for one week. If you haven't registered by then I'll remove it, and I'll have to immediately remove any further posts made by you as a guest that refers to your product. Thank you for your time.

I have used the block sharpener on cheap katanas before. Actually it works pretty good. I would not recommend the accusharp sharpener as it tends to change the edge geometry and replace it with its own.
Block sharpener is mainly a honing tool as it improves on an existing edge. If the sword doesn't have an existing edge/bevel then it won't work
I would use water stones on really expensive blades or katanas. If the katana is of historical value then leave it alone.

As Adrian Jordan is no longer with us, I will honor his prior ruling in this case as well. Paul, please see below for a copy of his original decision:
"Paul Block: It is okay to come on here to discuss your product, but do so as a registered member, please. If you wish to advertise or recommend it then you may need to apply for a Manufacturers & Vendors status here. Both are pretty easy processes. I will leave your post up in this thread for one week. We still invite you to register as a member and become a verified Manufacturer/Vendor. As you did solicit (including your website, and referencing Youtube) I believe Adrian's decision regarding Spam for non-member accounts still applies.
Due to time passed, I don't think it is reasonable to immediately delete this post. However, we can consider the clock reset and invite you to join as a member within a week (It's free, after all!). At that point, you can even apply for Manufacturer/Vendor Status and be a verified representative of your company on these boards able to recommend and discuss your products with a diverse audience.
Thank you for your time and patience.

Thread cleaned up in accordance with Forum rules. Mr. Block is still very welcome to join as a member and gain Manufacturer/Vendor status, but unfortunately we must enforce our forum rules regarding Guest member solicitation.
My thanks to all for their patience and understanding.
