This is one of the favourite designs that I've ever done. Usually I have to go through dozens of pommel and guard variations until I arrive at the combination I dislike the least, but I really liked this one from the get go. Ideally the pommel and guard will be forged/stock removed from pattern welded steel, but I'm not sure how difficult/plausible that will be. I suppose a bronze cast pommel and guard will look rather nice too. The grip is made up of 2 white maple collars with 1mm silver lining, and the main grip is polished ebony. The rivets are steel, inlayed with moonstone.

THIS SWORD IS AWESOME! What kinda head is that for the pommel... it almost looks like an Inuit totem. Is that what the Nordic is for?

Middle eastern influence in the blade shape - love the flowing lines - and fido of course !

Thanks! Yup, the pommel is meant to have a northern sort of look. I might revisit this kind of design in the future
