For me, that bastard gladius would look alot better if there was some sort of riser or ferrule that widened or flared the grip into the guard and pommel. As it is, it makes the grip look wimpy and weak. I do have to give props, cause at first i thought the images were of real blades.

Yeah, the bastard gladius wasn't really planned beforehand, I just felt like modelling something cool looking, so no wonder it has flaws. I still have the files though so maybe I'll go back to it someday and fix it up. When I do, I'll make sure to post updates.

I'm getting a real kick out of the bastard gladius, reminds me of the sword Rick swings around in the first "Mummy" movie.
