Notice I have to tweat the curves a liitle bit too, no biggie won't take no time to do it. Just need to turn the belt sander to a slower speed and use a 4in wheel. You can see the bottom part of the blade is off a little in the pictures. Can't let it go out like that.
Looking forward to getting this one out so I can see how it looks mounted.

me too... I haven't had a chance at all to do any cutting these last few weeks due to my regular job (teaching) and getting sick with a chest/throat virus. Again, good luck with your entry.

Looking really good and that profile can't have been fun to grind.I'm looking forward to seeing this mounted up.I think if it was me I would go for a short halft.Whatever you do with it though Chris it's going to be one very lethal spear.

It wasn't easy to grind, didn't charge anywhere near what's it's worth. Dang you people wanting double edges things. Making 5 tang mounted spear heads right now. At least these only have 8in blades. Can't complain too much there will be 4 knives in the graveyard series double edge.

Very impressive Mr.Driggers!! Very serious pole envy right now i must say. That was a pretty complex piece, and you pulled it off righteous like, very well done indeed!

I like the weapons produced by Mr Driggers. I've a its small viking axe. It's a great weapon strong and fast. The steel in hands of Mr Driggers becomes a master piece!

I know I made out like a bandit with the deal I got on this one . Double edged with curves all around is one tough shape for sure.

Going to wait and let the new owner do the pictures, I'm going to get it shipped off here very soon. It's took longer for me to get it did than I planned, bad weather and being sick didn't help at all.
Want to get it out to Chris so I can see it mounted up. Him being Canadian can handle the cold weather better than me. Just would like to see how he would deal with a Oklahoma summer.
Chris next year keep the cold in Canada.

The more I look at the shape of the wood, the more I see a baseball bat - like it was cut in half then had the blade stuck in it. Not sure how I feel about that... but I really like the piece of wood. Gonna have to play around with this tonight and see if I can get happy with the shape of the haft again, or if I have to change everything up.
