does anyone know of a good scottish broadsword out there other than cold steels in the for under $600?
P.S. if you have the second generation of the cold steel sword can you post your impressions of it?

The ones with the pretty red buckskin and elaborate metal hilts, yes?
Check out MRL, I know they have at least 1, maybe 2.

Also check out ArmourClass of Scotland www.armourclass.co.uk/With the exchange rates many swords are more like $800, but there might be 1 or 2 that will come it around $600. Depending on your needs (sharp for cutting v. blunt for practice), Darkwood Armory (www.darkwoodarmory.com) might be a place to investigate.
