I've seen some of the armor that Pitbull Armory hs to offer and it is very good looking. Has anyone have any kind of experience with that armor?

I have been seriously considering pittbull too. The guys seems really cool and seems to lover making armor. I'm sure you saw the dog and Squirrel armor. I want to ask him if he does anything in stainless.

Depending on what you are looking at, and what materials, some of it looks to be a comparable deal, to pretty decent. If looking at plastic, I would look at EGG Armoury, and Alchemy Armour.

I think Pitbull has some good deals on mild steel plate. Especially the arms and legs set. For myself, I want something that can't rust, that is why I will only consider stainless. A lot of people hate stainless because it is not historical.

as long as it is properly functional i don"t mind if the armor is stainless steel. In the past they didn't use it because they hadn't "discovered" it, if they had i bet they'd use it for armor.......

Something to keep in mind. Mild steel is historical and rusts just the same. You guys will have to be diligent about waxing it.

Not really. I fight in my mild steel helm at least once a week, rain or shine. A good wipe-down with a rag before putting it in its bag does wonders. I clean up the start of surface rust about once every 4-6 months. A good polish and initial waxing also helps.
