What an interesting proposition. We would need to work out some minor issues, like what simulators, armor and calibration. I am guessing the whole body would be a taget area, but how about grappling? Do we go till submission or just till the guy is on the ground.
I have practiced with so man strangers at tornaments, I would love to practice with an SBG buddy.
That is a very good demo Mike. I had seen that one a while back.

What I found most interesting is how flexible those swords were. Is that historically accurate or are they that flexible for safety?

Safety.
But, notice, they don't abuse their sword's flexibility like a foil fencer would.
