The layout and all the text for my European Longsword Training website is complete, now I'm working on getting some pictures and diagrams in there as well. Shouldn't be more than a week or two until completion.

Oh, and don't expect anything huge or fancy... my html skills are not great... there's black text on white background and a bunch of interconnecting hyperlinks throughout the guide.
It'd be fancier if I knew how.

Great to hear Adam! ;D I think that it will be a fantastic resource because what you said earlier is very true, most other sources are kind of missing something - and there is precious little online about true swordsmanship. No pressure, but we are all looking forward to seeing the final result!

Well I don't think it'll be a 'Final' anything when I get it up. It'll be under constant revision.
I hope to continually upload more pics, and vids of drills and so forth.
Also, any and all suggestions, requests, or criticisms will be heard.

Sure, I continue to modify and update my webpages. A website should be a living, breathing growing project.

Look forward to seeing it.

So here's where we stand. The only pages I've yet to write up are those on the 5th of the 5 meisterhauen, the Scheitelhau, and then also a page on 'Grounding'. Other than that, the pages are all written(though they are subject to change as I deepen my understanding and/or come up with more eloquent ways of expressing it).
Other than that the only thing we're missing is pictures for the 5 meisterhauen, as well as some drills vid. clips(coming soon!).
Eventually, i'm going to add a sub-page to each of the guards pages as well as the 'cutting' page and 'gripping the sword' page which will include 'how NOT to' pics, i.e. 'this is a common error/mistake', etc.
Oh, and here's the good news. Check out the link at the bottom of the 'medieval swords' page at SBG. i'll let that speak for itself.

The most ironic thing about this is that I can't see the site yet. I'm at work and we have filtered internet here in the breakroom, and the category 'weapons' is one such thing our filter protects against. I can't even bypass it because 'proxy avoidance' is also filtered. Unfortunate that I don't even get to see my baby up and running before you guys, but feel free to offer your constructive criticisms... but be nice... I'm nervous...

odd that I can get to these forums however, since 'message boards and clubs' is filtered... 0_o

It doesn't seem to work? All I get is a message saying that the URL cannot be found. Maybe its just me.
