You can find custom sword makers by googling them - but I doubt you will find any willing to make a sword for under $300 - you'd be lucky to pay twice that much. Can you describe the sword, or provide a picture?

From what i've noticed searching on the net you'd have to get it custom made and it'd be quite a bit of money. First thing to mention should be this sword would most likely never be really a functional piece ( seems to me like the blade is very very long ). To be honest, i don't think there's a chance to get it made for under 600$ ( if we're talking about something with a real blade, not some crap ).

You would be in violation of the IP if you had such a blade made without permission from the makers of Vampire Hunter D.

Well i don't think it'd really turn into anything, i mean as long as you're not going to wander with it around the city nobody will even know you have such sword.

Vampire hunter - just post a link to a picture of the sword, or follow the forum guidelines for posting pictures here: /index.cgi?board=tenchincal&action=display&thread=1166040793

Guess you mean silver? Honestly speaking silver wouldn't make a good blade, it'd be even hard to call it a blade. Inserting it into a nihonto, well depending on the amount, talking about positive effects, there'd be none, just different level of negative stuff. I doubt you can find a silver blade anywhere, however probably someone would be able to make one if you paid him. It'd cost you a small fortune thought. Silver is ( especially, pure silver ) way too weak a metal to make a sword from it, maybe for a very small blade it'd be ok to use it ( however it'd still be some very delicate stuff ). Most likely a swing with such a sword would break the blade to pieces, no need to even hit anything. In a way it's way worse than wallhangers. Also i have no idea how the situation is with heat treating silver.

Indeed. Might as well get a gold sword. (Also no good). But a silver inlaid sword would be interesting and probably more practical against vampires and werewolves and such. Although none exist it would be cool to own. The "Anti-Vampire" Sword.

Well most likely there'd be problems with getting it together, i'm no spec here, but to me it seems like silver and steel aren't best friends. Golden sword would actually be even worse, cause gold is even weaker than silver. Made from pure gold it'd probably break to small pieces from picking it up from the ground.
