Don't have either but want the snake eyes one, it is pretty! I reckon they would make top notch cutters.

At last, a reply! Yeah, the snake-eyes esp. looks like a good cutter but i'm a little concerned about the hilts. I may have to pick it up anyway, as i have seen it for as little as $99 on ebay.

Well for $99 i wouldn't be that worried and they are made by windlass so they should be ok, i think that the storm shadow one is probably the better of the two cutters but i would buy both of them as i have been a fan of GI Joe for most of my life.

His grip on that sword speaks volumes for training in wushu to portray a ninja...

I have a feeling these collectables will be trumped if they decide to put out movie swords. However, it is more often than not that movie swords are just wallhangers with no functionality other than fostering wishful thinking.

1095 sounds too good of a steel to be wasted on a wallhanger, I think these are real cutters, think my neighbor has the storm shadow, can't tell because he modified the original sword.

1095 has the potential to be quite brittle... for 175 bucks I wouldn't expect a top notch heat treat...

At my local mall in the sword store, the clerk said that Windlass does not even bother to heat treat these swords. He said that they are meant to be collected and not to cut with.
