I have never seen this particular sword but I know that Marto makes high ends wall hangers. They are aesthetically very pleasing but bot functional at all. First, they have a stainless steel blade, then a rat tail tang. You will also find that the balance is way off since this kind of sword is not intended to be used not to be historically accurate. I have seen many Marto swords and they are truly beautiful but serve only one purpose: wall ornamentation.
Hope this answers some questions.

The price is awesome. If you still have doubts, go to : www.legendaryheroes.com you will see. I did business with that particular vendor on ebay, Swashbuckler I think. I bought the Fighting sword of Alexander for a Halloween costume. GREAT PIECE, GREAT QUALITY! I can only assume that the Kronos will be of the same quality.

Looks like a wallhanger. There is some writing on the blade near the hilt. I bet it says stainless steel. I will also bet the handle is plastic over a rod tang. My first sword was such, only I paid $35 plus $10 for shipping. I broke the plastic handle hitting some boxes. I replaced the handle with a copper pipe tube. It hangs on my wall. I have banged it around on my tire-pell a bit, the rod tang held. The problem is that the blade will twist as the threaded tang loosens on impact.
Nothing wrong with buying a wallhanger if that is what you want... but I think it is overpriced. Check out by-the-sword.com That is where I got my $35 wallhanger 6 years ago.
