i think arnold shoud do it again. no matter who plays the part, conan is arnold in my mind. its like the terminator movies, same thing goes. Nah. Seen him lately? He wouldn't be believable in a Conan movie unless he played the father part and the movie was about his son, maybe. Nowadays, he's got bigger boobs than some women! |

I wonder how far away we are from flawless CGI actors. The version of Arnold in the latest Terminator movie was pretty good. If he contributed full voice to a CGI performance if could be convincing.

You mean like in Beowulf; where they took 40-something Ray Winstone and turned him into a late 20s hardbody? Granted, they did it so you'd know it was animated but it was so close...
But then it begs the question, would we really appreciate it, knowing the actor's voice we're hearing is really a fattie? I dunno.

I really enjoyed the animated beowulf and Ray Winstone was fantastic in it, he was also fantastic in King Arthur (which I think a great movie, but wished they'd chosen someone else to play keira knightley's character) and I liked his knives at the start of that movie. The other person who could play conan would be Karl Urban with different hair. He is well muscled but believably so, the same body type as in pathfinder but a bit more built.

Yea, I don't think he needs to be massive like Arnold was, but a stripling wouldn't do either. I'd say Karl Urban's got the swarthy good looks, but I'm not sold on him being able to pull it off. Not sure if he's really leading man material at this point, but what do I know.
