Does anyone here own or know anything about the Gen2 Chaos Fantasy sword?
All opinions on any aspect of the sword welcome.
Thanks in advance.

It's big and it looks damn pretty? I really like the look of it, although i would customize it if i got it and take the jaggedy twig looking crosspiece off and ditto with the ones on the base of the hilt. Reason i would take them off is because i think they would interfere with the ability to cleanly swing it without spiking your hands or arms. The other reason is it would look really mean without the crosspieceness although i think it would look better with a more solid crosspiece. It is the nicest looking sword gen2 have created, aesthetically it is really really nice a cut above the other gen2 sword from the photos. Although i am waiting to see what they do with the torino. I'm sure a hack saw would do the job of taking the crosspiece arms off, having said that i will never own it because my future wife has vetoed any sword over a certain length Having said that she will let me have swords and she likes them aesthetically so hell i can't complain. If you get it do a review on it mate.

Sol In case anyone does not realize it but the Chaos Sword went through some changes. It was gold under the black suede wrapping on the handle. We were going to retire it but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to make it red under the wrapping for Dragons Blood. To me black over red always looks good, or even visa versa on a katana. Red over black. But on this sword I do not think it would have looked good with that much red. They are in stock and the matching Dagger always makes a good addition. We are out of the dagger but they will be back in 3 weeks. www.imperialweapons.com/swords/Gen2/IP-037.html

I agree. There are far too fully functional Fantasy swords out there as it is without retiring this one... Matt - be sure to send in your review!

I certainly will ;D
Thing is, the Elven king has already gone for sure (you still have time to change your mind, though *crosses fingers*), to get rid of this as well would be too much.
You know it makes sense.

I'm interested in a functional fantasy blade, as I have a United Cutlery Sword of Vaelen (which is stainless steel and fragile as a glass... well, anything.
