Same as before, just put the image URL within IMG tags. There's an "Img" button above the text box that automatically pastes the tags around selected text.

glad to see everythings up and running again, the only issue ive noticed is when your on the board index you can no longer see what the title of the latest thread is in the forum, it shows who posted last, but theres no way of knowing what the thread is without going into that actual forum. For example if i look at "Classifieds" i can see that i was the last poster, but i cant see what that thread was to know if im interested in actually looking at it without manually going into classifieds then scrolling past all the stickies and stuff. I think it would be a bit faster and more convenient to bring back the thread names. Not that im complaining, just an issue i noticed straight away. other than that...a bit of color or some kind of skin is all i see lacking. Great job and thanks always for your hard work and dedication! by the way...im still trying to get vendor status.

You ain't the only one. But I guess Paul and the mods are extremely busy right now getting everything in order. That's what counts the most. Anyway, it's great to have the forum running again. Almost forgot how it is when you don't have to load every page 3 times  The bland color doesn't really bug me, the only thing that really needs fixing in my opinion are the pics.

Only thing i'll add is, I couldn't get a password reset to my email acct so I had to create another account. But other than that the site looks and runs great. Congrats on the new server.

Gratitude for the new playground Paul. It's running at warp speed now! The only issue I've seen is the cut-off photos, as previously mentioned.

Place looks rather...sterile. I guess I preferred the papyrus/parchment background and colors, looked more medieval-y.

Thanks for bearing with me guys, we've made a couple of minor changes already - now last posts show the subject of the thread and I'm looking into a few log in issues that people are having. If you need to have a password reset shoot me an email: paul@sword-buyers-guide.com! and I'll get to it as fast as possible. Otherwise, I hear you on wanting a wider screen - there are many reasons why we are starting with a narrower format. One is to do with speed as this template is designed to be fast without using massive resources (but we have the option to rev it up if need be - right now we are set to idling speed!), but the others will not become apparent until later (there is a madness to my method! Or, um - yeah, maybe it's the other way around - guess we will see! LOL).. But anyway, I hear you folks - what I'll do is see if we can't come up with an optional wide screen skin that you can switch out to manually if you don't like the default. But first things first, we need to get the pictures on the default template resized and with the lightbox option and figure out what is going on with people getting logged off. As to the bare bones look, don't worry - that's coming too. The important thing right now is to get everything working as smooth as possible and make sure there is no data loss so we can let the old forum sink in the quicksand it's been mired in for the last few months and close it off. Let me know if I have forgotten something (most likely something important) - I'll be back in a few hours later, have some big exams for my Japanese studies today (9:30am in Japan right now) and need to get that out the way before I plunge back in to the overhauls and stuff. Thanks all, - Paul

not sure if this is a problem resulting from the switch, but it logs me out every time I leave the site, even with the "stay logged in" option checked.

I know I'm just a newbie, but even so, I appreciate all the updates and upgrades to all of SBG. It all looks clean and modern and information is easily accessible.
Thanks for all your hard work, Paul.

I've read all the posts (as usual- I don't post in a thread without reading all the priors) but I forget (... so does it really matter if I read all the past posts? lol) if anyone asked for a more clear separation of text when quoting. It is difficult to see where a quote ends and the new content in post begins.
cheers!
