It's a depeeka and depeeka aren't exactly renown for quality. Dan did a review a while ago and the sword's hilt failed stupendously. Best to avoid it if you're looking to use it for cutting.

I'd have to say no, Leo. I have yet to see a real functional deepeeka.

thank you , i was pretty sure deepeka had that rep,its a shame , cuz that is one celtic sword that looks like its histoicaly based, albion makes one for 500$ but i cant afford that for a littlle while , i think windlass use to make a long celtic sword, ill have to look for that. ill post here if i find it and see if anyone has tried it out, again , thank you

Xan, the KC celtic is indeed a sharp sword and an excellent cutter. The downside is it's DH, making it soft in the middle. I bent mine on a botched cut. To be fair it was a real homer, almost sent the bottle over my roof. It was easy enough to bend back and still cuts great. Just be aware of the possibility.

Xan, it's not a bad sword, just the way it's hardened makes it soft in the middle like the back of a katana if I understand correctly. Damn good cutting sword tho, first one I was really able to cut with. Far as I know I'm the only one to bend one. LOL I like Kris Cutlery over all, I got a teutonic coming. Have a karma.

The Windlass long one looks stunning in my opinion, and if it really weighs only two pounds it would be quite fast and historically plausible. I'd look into it more if I were you, try to find out the PoB and the flex, as it may be one of their older, whippier ones. The Price is quite nice and it seems like it could be a good sword.
