Hello!
I have always been interested in the Indian weapon Katar. So I was hoping one of you guys shared the same interest but had more knowledge than me.
What I want to know is if there is any "battle ready" ones out there, I have searched like hell but haven't found anyone to my liking. May buy a cheap one from ebay, but I rly would like a scissor one or a solid 3 bladed one. And my second question is: are there any information about the style katar users used or of their techniques?
I would be happy if at least one of these questions were answered, and if you have any information at all regarding them please tell.
Edited: Any information regarding Patar is also highly appreciated.

The only one I can recommend is from Himalayan Imports. Their khukuris, apparently, are second to none and genuine made. It won't split into three blades, but you could slaughter some milk jugs, certainly.
