I just got my Celtic Anthropomorphic today (by Gen 2) and Its AWESOME! Get one! but be aware the hilt furniture will be steel.
I cut 40 boxes up tonight, some with repeated use, and it cut just as well at the end of the session as the beginning. It is heavy for its size, but being comfortable with two hands it is still very fast. With one hand it is hard to pull up. Its just a bit of a workout sword.
Get one.

I have one that I might be willing to part with, if the price is right. Was going to do a nice scabbard, tooling etc, but...
Not sure what a reasonable price is for them. Mine is the kind that actually gets wider towards the tip (true leaf blade), as I hear they are making some now with straight blades.

Just received the new catalog from Museum Replicas, and on the next-to-last page they feature "Sword of Troy", which has a 26" leaf shaped blade, bronze guard, and wooden handle and pommel. Actually looks like a cross between a Celtic blade and a Roman handle, i.e. not 100% historically accurate, but still looks good, like something which could have existed, even if no exact examples have yet been found. Cost is $215

All photos on Arms of Valor and Therion Arms, as well as all reviews on this site show brass pommel "arms" and "legs"...I suppose I'm confused now.

Talk to your vendor. There may be a couple of brass ones left, but they have gone steel. Who cares it's a killer tool. And I say tool coz its a sweet machete.
