What he said! Lmao! I need something tough and beefy. And thick. Darksword looks incredibly strong.

Now I really want one! The Ranger or two handed medieval sword in particular... You have any suggestions? I need something that can seize a lot of momentum and can serve me well. Like here is an unrealistic situation, say a zombie attack happens, what can handle a lot of blows, make it easy for me to have a good grip and chop through them with ease? Or as the popular sword saying goes... "Like butter"?

From everything I have read go with the gothic two hander, it handles better and is far more balanced, also it is my personal favourite of the darksword line.

Hmmm and if I backorder it I can get a free dagger! I may go with this or a Cheness Shura.

If you want a two-handed sword, I would suggest the Gothic as BW mentioned. If you want to look like a rock-star while chopping zombies, I would suggest the Anduril! Back ordered swords should be in-stock by March.

Yeah but free dagger is always awesome, always nice to get something free when you purchase something. There will always be awesome cheness swords but a free dagger only comes along once in a blue moon. I concur with brian on his suggestions.

Also, this would be the first time I have ever even touched a usable medieval sword. I would fulfill another childhood fantasy.

Man, consider A of Vs guidance toward one of the better Windlass blades. They arent sharp at first, so you can get used to handling them in slightly more safety, but then when you want it sharp you can easily do it yourself.

I like the fact I can order Darksword easily in Canada. I don't have to pay like 50$ for tax when it comes in. I would like a windlass, but only if someone sold it to me personally and sent it as a gift.

Send it as Theatrical production pieces. I believe that is one of the categories that gets around taxes.

I have known several armourers who will send it listed through customs as such, if you specify when you order. The other thing is to send it USPS (United States Postal Service). UPS/Fedex/DHL tack on exorbitant fees when shipping international.
Again, I believe this is the correct designation. I would research it a bit more before relying on me (who heard about something like this a bit ago). I want to say it was Theatrical production, or costume, or something to do with drama/arts/theatre. If you check the Canadian Customs page, they might have more info.

They are said to make a really tough blade but some of them are ugly as sin, I don't have much experience with them but their warranty alone says good things to me. You can do alot better for the price though, alot better. For that price you are in the realm of ATrim which I would personally recommend, I have had my eye on one of his LPM sabres for a long time, just never really had the spare money to be able to justify it. Also you can get a low end albion for what a badger would get you and I know what I would choose, definitely an albion.
You do know that a medieval sword handles alot differently to an asian sword right? There is a whole different mechanic when cutting with them.

I don't mind cosmetics. I want to personally customize it. Like make or buy pieces to bring it's appearance. I prefer functionality over looks. But I guess that pretty much just contradicts what I just said!
