(did I say this already?) I think we need to remember this is about SBG, not just the SBG forum. Focus on phrases that compliment the main site :)

I really need to check this forum more often. My heart sunk when, after reading all the entries, I saw "POP" and was out of contention. Bright side: No more entries means we are closer to knowing what the slogan will be. I have to put a few down, just cuz. A Pointed Existence; Learn, Laugh, Slice; and Tatami you love me. Anyway, good luck to all who submitted. I enjoyed reading through them and can't wait for the finished product. And I like the hoodie idea as well, if that ever becomes a possibility.

Extract from Paul in the digest newsletter I just recieved:
It was no easy task, the number and the quality of entries was exceptional. Here’s some of my favorites (not quite runners up, but highly amusing, at least to me):
SBG: For all sword lovers. What, you thought you were the only one?
(Printed small on the chest) S.B.G. if you can read this, you're in range.
A Samurai, a Ninja and a Knight walk into a bar... Stop me if you have heard this one
SBG: Get medieval on 'em!
You're out of ammo. Whose the geek now?
But Like the highlander, there can be only one..
And the winner is…
Taran with his entry:
Your Journey Into Sword Collecting Begins Here!
Simple, straightforward and nicely sums up what we are about. So Conga-rats to Taran, we will be in touch to get your details and send you your swords!
More competitions will be coming out in the next month, and watch for the T-Shirts with our sponsors on the back!

Ahhh! Man, I wanted those swords, but I have to admit that Taran's slogan was way better than mine were. Congratulations!

Sorry to be so slow to get back to this. Being in Afghanistan, I can't check the forum everyday.
Thank you very much for thinking mine was worthy of this forum. This is where I started my sword collection. I bought my first real sword, the CS Gim (Carp edition) based on the review on the main page. I ordered my semi-customs from Sinoswords based on reviews here (those will reach my house shortly after I do).
This is my first Katana and my 2nd Euro. A Euro I seriously considered spending $400 for at the Renne Faire last year before choosing my Strongblade Warspike.
There is a good chance that these swords will see their first action in a sword arch for the wedding of an old friend of mine who was a bridesmaid at my wedding.
