Ok... and POP. That'll do it for entries. The staff will now pick the ten entries we like the best and send them to Paul for final judgement. Do you get a vote? Nope , sorry , you really don't . However if you'd like to influence the staff as they decide the ten entries , well there is no reason you can't. Here is Paul's guidelines on the slogan: So , if you want to influence the staff's possible nominations , everyone pick ONE slogan that : a) meets the outlined criteria above b) is NOT yours[/list:u]
and post it in this thread.
Maybe We will agree ... maybe not... but it cant hurt.

There really are a good number of exceptional entries in this thread. They run the gamut from humorous and clever, to dignified, and dare I say, poetic. Hard to choose just one.
However, gun to my head (or sword to my throat)? I really do love Toast's reasoning behind his submission, which was: "Sharp people. Sharp swords." It's succinct, and really does encapsulate just what this board is comprised of. It covers everything, from the forge to the forum.
Tough decision this is gonna be, huh Marc? Between you, the other mods, and Paul, this is probably gonna take some serious deliberation.
Best of luck to all the entrants! Brian

I was told to share why I said this so Im sharing it.
"Why thank you. It is true though....Paul's idea for a community was just iron ore.....through the toughest times its been folded and folded getting rid of all the impurities, i.e, the bad sword companies, bad people, and those who abuse swords, which in the end is a solid community that shows beauty....its complexity and the owner of said sword ( Community) had a great view."
I know mine is late and you guys have your choices picked, but had to share mine. I think it explains SBG very well.
