I love the blade on the 1315, it's just the super-long cross I couldn't get past. The sword's great, I'm just an oddball. Yeah, waiting for my tuned version to show up............. Edit: I didnt know that the VA Arming was based on the 1315, though. I was certain it was the 1312 it was based on. Learn something new every day, especially here. Thanks Mike.

Double post, shame on me!
Tuned AT303 just came this morning. I'm pretty impressed. It's by far the best sword I own (all....5 that I've bought. lol), but even it has flaws (to be expected in the price point). The fuller isnt straight on one side, but it's not very noticeable, and the grip sits slightly askew (I can't tell if it's the grip or the cross, to be honest). Again neither of these are very noticeable and they dont affect it's handling whatsoever.
Cant wait to get some cutting done. The regrinding on it is very nicely done, and I don't have the secondary bevel that another member complained about.

Issue resolved thanks to the inimitable ShooterMike! Well, I had hoped my lingering issue with the Atrim SBG sale was resolved but apparently it is not. Nearly 4 weeks since I got word that the remaining part of my order would be shipped, and so far nothing received. At this point I guess I have to resign myself to having paid more for my 1315 than others did. Very disturbing as I paid Gus for another sword and scabbard over a year ago, also. I still believe that Gus is an honest, hard working artisan, and that one day I'll receive what I've paid for, but the lack of any sort of communication from him causes concern. From reading threads on other forums, I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Yes I've read the one or two posts about all of the problems Gus has experienced over the last year, and I understand he is trying to get caught up. However when an item is complete, it should be shipped expeditiously if/when payment has been made. Not doing so is bad business, and in light of that, after a while problems simply sound like excuses. We all have issues that each of us deals with every day, and we are expected to go to work, support our families, or whatever. Apologies if this sounds harsh, but maybe that's what it will take to clear this up. Being polite and patient sure hasn't worked. With Gus not answering e-mails or private messages (which can't even be sent on one board because the box is full), my only means of getting a message to him is via public forum.
