Ochou Katana Quick Review By Tomi Lakkinen Finland Hämeenlinna
Okay im doing this review even that this sword is all ready reviewd nicely and coupel of times (because dont have much more to do). I bought this sword at Sbg shop and its have been at me now about thee moths and it has been hc use since the day it comes.
Ronin Ochou fits very well with Hanwei Bushido Waki.
Historical overview: Dotanuki style blade nothing more to say because im not really expert of Japanese sword even if im ocassionally train Kendo and know a little bit of Samurais and japanese history..
Tsuka is very well shaped and comforttable to use..
Impressions after three months use : Okay when i ordered sub 300 dollar or euro sword i dont exept too much and when Ochou comes to me i was in love at first sight, every thing of koshirae is still after three months of use tight as to day it come and even that i´v cut nown more than 10 trees. Blade is very strong and to my opinion strongest Katana blade that i´v seen(and i have collected sword allmoust 16 years for now Koshirae is very well made and practical to IMHO very beautifull Sukashi syle Tsuba is really beautifull and tastefully done and the Tsuka shape and ito is best i´v seen ....
Pros and cons:
For 300 sub Katana Ochou has no cons and there is no cons att all
Pros: The Ochou is overall very strong and well made i bought waki for pair of it as soon i get money, i will buy Ronin Katana Swords more in the future and strongly recommened Ronin Katana swords to every one who wanted a very good Katana to cutting use.

Hi, Great pictures, not sure about the cutting trees bit as you could strike a harder piece and chip your edge, but enjoy!

Thanks for the review mate. Not a lot of Ronins here in Finland, actually yours is the first that I'm aware of. Nice to hear you are very pleased with the sword.
