Thanks to Butch for a tremendous effort on getting these into our lucky hands at a breakneck pace; to Avery as go between and Marc as logistician.
Couldn't be happier with my hawk. :)

I'll echo Dave's words here, Great Project very well done, but would like to add that if they every do another run I will seriously think of getting amother as they are that good.

Woot! Said it already, but *THIS* is how an SBG project is meant to go! So happy to see this.

Count me in if there's a round 2.These hawks are worth every penny and you can't have too much of a good thing ,maybe a companion knife to go with the hawks could be a future project

In the words of the immortal Homer Simpson,......
Folks, I can't express how thrilled I am with this project. I didn't want to jinx it till now, but....
The Curse Is Broken!!!!
A huge thanks to Butch, without him this would've never happened. Marc deserves a pile of thanks as well for taking care of the finances. As for me, like I said, I got to ride the coat tails of better men and be a part of this. Makes me look good anyway,
Oh and trust me, I'll give Butch a rest for a bit and then start needling him to do another run, hehehe.

Congratz to all involved. It was really great to see how this turned out. If you think of having another run in the future, I would love to be involved.

Been watching this from afar, as I'm not a 'hawk guy really, but I must say these are some beautiful pieces and those who got in on this are some lucky ducks...I really like the spike-type hawk head. Haft is also beautiful.
And finally, I'm quite pleased to see a SBG special project go so off smoothly and with such positive results...BRAVO!!!

Would it be too much to ask for a page with pictures of all 15 in one post?

I'm not sure if it's still available but number 12 was on sale in the Classifieds, not too long ago.

Yep, Skull is right, there is one for sale in the classifieds, Ghost is selling his.
I never mentioned this, but I have the first Prototype butch did. It's stamped instead of etched and Butch was worried about getting the stamp to work correctly every time. As an axe maker myself, not to mention a collector and enthusiast, I'm amazed by how well it handles and throws. I'm also humbled by his skill.

Avery has several threads showing some of his work. Do a search and you'll get some hits.
I own two of his pieces and can attest to his work.
