Can't speak to those specific weapons... but I've had a couple TFW swords and they were both very good products. A Review I did with a Jian from them is on this site.

They kick *ss. I have one of their blades, I reviewed it a long time ago : viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2278&hilit=pinuteI know a few others also have some of their products and are quite happy with them. These are very good products for the cost. One thing about the edge ; my Pinute has an edge that doesn't ''look sharp'', but it will slice very, very well through any water bottle that I put in its way.

I too reviewed a sword of theirs and very much like it. for the price they have some of the best stuff going at least as far as the style is concerned. they do very good work. as the others I don't know the products you are looking at but everything else of theirs is great. well worth the risk in my opinion.

I don't know anything about those particular blades but my dao from Traditional Filipino Weapons is a beauty of a blade, sturdy, well made and balanced just right. The dao arrived with an edge like a butter knife, Ron at TFW (a great guy, with excellent customer service) offered to replace it with a sharp one but I was just getting in to using my new belt sander and opted to sharpen it myself. I intend to purchase another sword from TFW in the near future, one of their Filipino blades. TFW rocks!

Another plug for TFW.
Their Panabas is wicked cool and very well built.
