My latest video review. The Darksword Armory Norman Sword. This is apparently a newly revised version of the Norman sword from DSA. I like it a lot. ( Please ignore my poor form while working the pell, as I have very little experience at this particular practice ) :-) The only thing I could add to my observations is that the 'sharpened' versions of DSA swords are not very sharp, and could use a bit better edge.

Great review Morpheus. Ive been tempted to get a DSA for a few years but have seen so many mixed reviews, it seems they have improved a lot from their old swords. How is the flex on this blade?

Could you post some close up pictures of it? I'm really curious about the changes from regular model...

Say now: I'm liking the guard on that one, it's different than the guard that's shown on their website. Did you order it special, or have they just not updated their images yet?

It's on the first page. They have the old version listed on the second page.

These blades, although lighter and more lithe than older models, are still quite stout, It can flex somewhat however, and I meant to include that in the video.

I also meant to mention in this review that the sharpness is achieved through the use of a secondary bevel on the edge of the blade. I gotta start writing things down , heh.

I have one of these that I bought second hand. It's ugly, short, somewhat on the heavy side and the secondary bevel that somebody put on this thing to sharpen it can be used (along with sunlight) to signal aircraft or passing ships at sea if you are in need of rescue.
But I think that It likes me and we're bonding...[shivers]
