As some of you may know by now, I have 5 kids. I watch more cartoons than a grown man should be comfortable with. However, while watching the show "Adventure Time," I couldn't help but wonder if anyone has made a replica of the sword used in their logo. That's one wall hanger I wouldn't mind wasting money on just to see the expression on my kids' faces. For those who are not as hip to the kiddie scene as I am, it looks like this: 2k11.torontocomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/adventure-time-logo.png

I also am forced to watch a great amount of cartoons. I love Adventure Time, though. I also love Regular Show, and the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack when it was on.

I can't get into most modern cartoons. Adventure Time, Regular Show, all the other ones that I can't think of because I don't pay enough attention to them and nobody's mentioned them yet, even Spongebob...I just can't see the appeal. Then again, this coming from someone who quite enjoys every new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic...so take that as you will. I remember the cartoons I grew up on...before the Cartoon Network started running live-action shows as a regular thing...and before Nickelodeon became...whatever Nickelodeon has become. I miss Saturday mornings. I'm sure I've seen swords very similar to that one. Careful your kids don't try to go adventuring with your wallhanger, though...

@random: I hear ya about Saturday morning cartoons. After these messages, we'll be right.... back. chris: The Fable Blade and Jeffrey Robinson are darn close, and pretty sweet to boot. I'm not sure if I saw the likeness in the middle link, but it's from wiki, so I probably put it there to begin with.

the pic from falbeblades works in a preview but breaks when I submit the post. Did you check the actual site?
And yes, I remember Brenno saying he had to reign in the design of the sword from the videogame to make it a little more easy to wield. Also the sword in the game has changed in look a bit from the original version of it which the Fableblade was based on.
Still, they show how that sword you linked to can be real and still cool.

The links worked fine... I went to the fable blades site and was able to view the piece. The pics on the wiki site were just small. I had no doubt that skilled craftsmen could make a cool blade out of just about any fantasy design, I know Ive seen ones made for Nintendo, Zelda, all sorts of stuff. I just haven't seen an "Adventure Time" wall hanger in my journeys through the budget sword sights yet and it's probably the first "cartoon sword" that my kids would be able to recognize.
