Does anyone have this beauty? It looks absolutely beastly despite its surprisingly light weight at 4 lbs 12 oz. Seems a tad short being only 51 inches long (I always imagined it to be zweihander-sized), but I think I found my tax-refund present for myself if it proves to handle/feel as great as it looks.

If it handles anything like the ''damascus'' version ; go for it. The stats are same, so it should

If I remember correctly, it *is* shorter than the movie prop. The hilt is more or less the same length as the original, but the blade was definitely in the 40-50" range. I don't have my info with me right now, unfortunately, but yeah, the original was definitely zweihander-long... my guess is that DSA is limited in the size they can offer for some reason (not able to stretch their stock reliably, perhaps? short heat-treating forge? who knows) as their Anduril has the same issue of being shorter than it should be, its blade is the same length as this piece as well.

My good friend recently purchased this and it's his absolute favorite. The close POB makes it feel a bit lighter than the almost 5lbs, but it still feels quite substantial in the hands. The spikes on the pommel are deadly and quite sharp at the point. The long handle allows for any grip you like and lets you really get it up to speed quickly. The closest thing I can compare it to handling wise is the Gen 2 Ranger.

I have a Damascus version of this sword from DSA and it is great, the witchking was always my Fav from LoTR, though I have not yet cut with it I would say it would hold up as well as any DSA.
