this is my first attempt at a home made crossbow,i made it from some scrap bits of aluminium extrusion i had lying around,i copied the trigger mechanism off my excalibur, its made from bits of brass scrap steel and old time clock spares i used an old time clock spring for the bolt retention spring, the stock is made from laminated plywood (the stain didnt take very well) its got a knocked up prod on atm,i'll buy a 120lb prod on payday for it it was fun to make but it's no vixen  IMAG0136.jpgIMAG0135.jpgIMAG0134.jpgIMAG0133.jpg

Damn, that looks AWESOME!! It has a neat rustic feel to it, as if it was made by some guy during the apocalypse with stuff he found lying around. And that stock looks very comfy. Once you got the prod, let us know how it shoots!!
