I know DSA has been going through some of their older stock and changing some of the blades to reduce weight, does anyone know if this is true for the Sage? I noticed they removed the weight on their website, but KoA still has the weight at 3lbs 11oz.
Also, on a different note, I'm having a hard time deciding between their Feanor sword and the Sage. I have their Danish two hander, and I think the Feanor sword is pretty similar. Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure that all of the sword on KoA are the older versions. I emailed them about the Henry V from DSA right after they changed the price.
Hope this helps John

I don't know if the Sage has been around long enough for Eyal to want to change the weight on it yet.
The Sage isn't over bearing to wield, it does have some weight, and doesn't lend itself to single hand use readily though it can be accomplished. The blade profile of the Sage makes it a very adept thrusting blade, but the blades agility is stifled by the weight and point of balance. You can generate some fearsome power in the cut with it, but it is not as nimble as it could be with a weight closer to the three pound mark. Using your guide hand farther down the grip serves to help reverse and control the blade better, but the point of balance coupled with the weight serve to make the Sage very blade biased.
