The following is from an email I received from Cust Serv when asking about the promo code. I had mentioned I would relay their response to the rest of this forum. " That code should be working. Okay...so which sword are we gonna get this week? I say it will be...drum-roll.....the Golden Coast cutlass. I might be wrong, but that's my prediction. Wouldn't it be totally funny if MRL threw in something completely weird in one of their 'theme' weeks, like a gladius here on 'Pirate Week'.

An update to the SBGVIP promo code. After not getting a concrete answer on their chat I contacted them via email. In short MRL doesn't seem to know much about it. Try it, put something in your cart, add the promo code, update the cart and you should see the discount before you have to commit to the purchase.

Somewhere back there I had posted this: "Is it possible their left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing?" Their PR people seemed wishy-washy but as near as I could tell SBGVIP did not work, at least none of the customer service could make it do so. Thanks
