Good review Sean. Am holding out for the 2-handed Falchion :-)

Tom: Ah hah... I do love hearing where Gus gets his inspiration for his swords. Very cool. ;-) CF: Don't I know it. Worse then the crap quality... the video camera only works with my wife's laptop, not my PC, so to load pics I use my PC, and to load vid I need my laptop, which is slower then molasses dripping down Velcro in the winter.

great review Sean, thanks. this was never my favorite type of sword, it kind of reminds me of an overgrown Bowie knife but it sure does look powerful and sounds like a sweet ringer. I am always thrown off when a big strong guy is cutting with swords because I never really know if it's nimble or they just make it look nimble, lol but the quick recovery and redirection you display in your vid are impressive.

Heh... Despite my size and strength, when it comes to single handed swords I tend to prefer shorter, lighter, faster weapons. The bulk of my weapons training is with knife, escrima, and rapier/dagger... so I'm not accustomed to longer, heavier swords. With two handed swords I like length and a bit of weight... but single handed swords I like em short and fast... so if I say its a quick and nimble sword, it likely is so for someone smaller as well... just because my taste runs that way.
