Hey Sean, I remember when this sword came up, I was about to buy it but thought I would get a quote on postage before I did, at the same time I sent a pm to Sean asking him if he wanted to review it for everyone here, before it came to deepest darkest Australia, but I got a reply from KoA saying it was sold. I think that this was a great deal for an Odinblade Custom sword at longship prices, with deals this good you have to just have to buy it. All I can say about this review is damit I shoulda just bought it the pictures on KoA did not do it justice, that grip is amazing, the lenght and style just go together so well, I had mixed feeling about the pommel but Seans photos have showed me what a great little sword this is. Well done mate nice review, on a side note by not buying this sword I was able to pick up a Jody Samson piece the following week so in a way I'm kinda glad it sold fast.

Which one? A Jody Samson sword is one of the somewhat attainable goals I am sad to say I have not reached yet. I tried to buy a couple... but was too slow and someone else got there first. I always keep my eye open for one that will suit my fancy tho. As to this sword... I'm very thankful that my wife knows me well and is such an amazing woman. She knew I would hem and haw about it and then someone else would buy it and I'd miss out and be regretful... so I'm glad she kicked me in the ass and said 'Buy it now, figure out the money later.'. I love you Foxy!

Here is a Jody Samson Broadsword that I purchased from the forum classifieds. I know these blades types are not everyones cup of tea but they are firm favorites of mine and to get this Samson piece, well lets just say I'm really pleased. this is my fourth Samson sword, and I still am on the lookout for his Seaward Katana. here is a link to his page jodysamson.com/gallery3.htmIT is good to have an understanding partner, who is not afraid to give just the right amount of shove. I've spent many hours staring at his stuff... I don't love all his designs, but I do love a lot of them... and he is one of those makers who has such a style you know his work right of the bat.
