This guy entered as Nitoryu(using 2shinai) in the Japanese Kendo Championship, although he lost in the 2nd round, it seems that it has been more than 20years since the last Nitoryu style enetred the tournament www.asahi.com/photonews/images/TKY200711030224.jpg

Nitoryu is only good if you have strong wrists and exceptional speed, same with florentining in the WMA.
