Hmmm. The answer, yes. Bold = One-handed.
In the kata Four Winds, you are in a crouching position. Draw the katana with your right-hand and thrust to the solar plexus. Bring the blade across to the right side of your body and thrust back. Quickly, drop onto your right knee and thrust again.
Stand up in neko, with the blade in a two-handed grip............. .................................................................................................. .................................................................................................(Fast forward) Do your final cut from shoulder to hip with sword in two hands. With one hand, bring the blade up to block and bring down with one hand to the right (Other hand on belt)
And so on so forth. Many kata have different ways of working.

Is this guy good?
For naruto fans: When he calls him self alex kakashi and shows his picture, you will notice that he is covering the wrong eye(right)... He should be covering his left eye where his sharingan is located...

Musashi's water book deals mostly with one handed cuts.

the kid in the video didn't seem too bad at all. nice clean cuts and fluid movement. Only major critique from me would be that he seems to over extend himself trying to reach his target instead of moving his feet.
