I was wondering if anyone has experience with this particular website. They have "gold plated" menuki for only $12 and a wide selection of some ornate tsuba for under $30. It looks legitimate but I wanted to double check since all of their items are so cheap.

I recently ordered a tsuba from their e-bay store. It shipped to the US really fast. I placed a order from their website at the beginning of the week. Got a order conformation but I haven't heard from them saying the order shipped. I'm gonna give them til the first of next week and if I haven't heard anything I'm gonna e-mail them. I know of several other people that have ordered from them without any problems. I think their response to orders from the e-bay store is faster.
Almost forgot, Artsfing is a member on the forum.

some of their items are really not bad at all. I have a few tsuba, menuki and a couple sets of F&K and other than the bland and sometimes dreary colors they sport, I like them. I wind up removing the paint/plating and recoloring them myself. some may also need a little touching up on the casting seams if that bothers you but no big deal with a dremel tool or jewelers file. I'd say for the price, you get your money's worth and then some.

If you do check there ebay store first, chances are it'll get to you faster. i ordered a pair of menuki off there website and it took about a month for them to arrive. Regardless, its a trustworthy vendor in my opinion.

My package shipped either last night or this morning. From the web site it only took them about six days to ship it out. I will let you know when it gets here to the US. I think my last order only took about seven days to get here from China.

Their e-bay store says it's "Mostly" brass. What ever that means. They appear similar to the ones that Huawi uses. The tsuba I got from them a while back has nice weight to it and good detail. Im no expert at identifying the material by looking at it. Im in the process of refitting a wak using thier parts and plan on posting the process when i get it done.

Did you get any ito from them? What's it like?
I am a short-hair away from just deciding to make my own fuchi/kashira but since I will have to order ito anyway I am thinking I might just get everything from Artsfeng....

My parts arrived today. The were shipped from China on 8-22-11 and I received them today in the US on 9-2-11. Here are a few pics. I think the detail is pretty good.

with some touch-up and plating these would be great (like a patinated copper for the background and the plants would be blackened as well as the crane with the eyes plated gold )

I ordered from them on 3/4/20. Emailed twice asking when items would be shipped. Never got a reply. Finally received items 8/8/20.
If you order from them, it's probably worth the money to pay for express shipping.
