I loved the original movie in a satirical way; I don't think that any of Arnold's movies were actually masterpieces in any way. As for the new one, I'm just expected a movie about some muscular guy chopping up people with a sword. In the trailer the movie visually doesn't look that bad so the only way that it could be worse than the original is in that it's well... not the original and it doesn't have the campy "Arnold" feel that the old one had. The sword's hilt looks disproportional, but aside from that I don't get what all the fuss is about.

I think the idea is that many of us were hoping for swords that not only look believable, but are also pieces of art in their own right. Quality, functionality, and a certain sense of aesthetics that a well-made sword should have.
Speaking for myself: The ones in the movie stills and previews so far. . . they just look like toys.

I'd gnaw my arm off if it reached for that sword.

I'd gnaw off your arm if it reached for that sword, too.
. . . that, or I was just that hungry.

I've seen Albion selling the replicas of the swords from the 1982 movie.
They have the new sword? Link, please?
