Very nice Curtis, you have a great all round collection but those Samson swords are stunning and becoming very hard to find.

Thank you for the compliments! Deepbluedave... I really lucked out on the Jody Samson swords. I've drooled over the ones in your collection many times. Your Samson Broadsword looks like a sister to mine.

That is a seriously quality collection. How do you like the Kris cutlery sword? Is that the Tuetonic?

Ah yes, the Teutonic... That is the only sword that I regretted selling so much, that I bought it back. It was one of my early sword purchases and in a crazed lust for Atrims, I sold it to fund one. I regretted it, especially once they became scarce. Fortunately, I sold it to KOA. On one of my visits about a year later, I discovered that it was sitting in the warehouse and had never been listed for sale on the website. I bought it back and vowed never to part with her again. I like everything about the Teutonic. It is one of my favorite cutters and I think the quality of the sword, as a whole, is right up there with the more expensive stuff. The only thing the Kris Cutlery swords suffer from (IMO) is their historical inaccuracy and that they are slightly overweight. I don't mind either issue. My KC swords are the work-horses of the flock. They see by far the most cutting. They are included in almost every cutting session and the Teutonic has seen the most use, by far, over any other sword in my collection. TFW is now selling this sword. They are asking quite a bit more than KC was, but the TFW scabbard seems to be a huge improvement over the KC scabbard. Even at the increased price, I would still consider purchasing one. I am more than satisfied with mine.

Sword History: Sean ordered it from Longship. I got it from Sean. I traded it and another sword for an Albion Dane. Now it is in the Curtis Collection.

She sure gets around. I hope she doesn't develop a complex.

Thanks Bill! Four of them originated from your collection. I need to get some new pics sometime this week. Right now, I'm vacationing in the Wisconsin Dells until Wednesday.
