not necessarily, if its balanced correctly theres no reason it would be unwieldable 1 handed arnie or not.

Balance and so on can do magical things but there's no way around more than 3lb in one hand. There's reason even big warswords weigh about the same (Albion Duke: 3lb 4oz) and their meant to be used with two hands. For a single hander with a blade of 30" this weight normally is downright scaring. But as this is a movie replica (and an excellent one at that) it is not intended to be a fighting sword so the weight is fine, one should just be aware that one buys such a sword not to do major cutting or other swordmanship. That thing is gonna be very heavy and tiring to use, no engineering can change this.

Felarof deserves a good home. It is too beautiful and too amazing to have been sitting on Brenno's shelf as long as it has. If I wasn't a hard-core custom sword fan I would have snatched it up during his last big sale. I own Nyere made by Brenno, and custom ordered Princess Elysia for a friend of mine. Brenno doesn't make swords that are too delicate to be used. You can rest assured that that wood guard and pommel will last, my friend.

Hi all Well thought I would update this thread and let everyone know what Iv decided upon . It was a very difficult decision to make between the Excalibur and Felarof as I really do like both very much for completely different reasons .In the end iv gone for Anduril (as iv always loved this sword) and the Excalibur .The Excalibur will be going through a little bit of a transformation though ,but more on that later .Thank you for everyone's input .

Thanks Sean ,though it was a very close call between the Felarof and Excalibur . In the end the little changes we are making on Excalibur though clinched the vote . Can't wait to see some pics from Brendan to see how it turns out .

A wise choice indeed my friend, I really like the looks of that sword. Congratulations on becoming the Numero Uno Fable Fan.

Word for word, I agree with you. That is terribly uncommon for me to agree so fully with anyone on anything...
"Sex in steel" indeed.

wow i thought it looked good in silver but this version looks exactly as it was portrayed in "Excalibur" one of my fav classic movies, the only effect left out is the mysterious green glow of the steel XD

The Felarof looks good to but the Excalibur is a much cooler than the other one.
The new mod looks definitely great. I bet it shines bright during night. Hmmm.
