I'm sure anyone at Albion could easliy validate the sellers explanation
to be honest it doesn't look as good as others I've seen- might be the photo quality..
Does sound legit to me though

If there's any kind of number or whatever on it, or in the box, send that on to Albion and see if they can confirm that it's one of theirs. Lacking a certificate of authenticity is a bit odd, I'd have imagined that Albion would have done so-- they had the license to produce an official film replica, after all, didn't they?

I'm wondering how the seller got a hold of it if it wasn't a production run and wasn't part of the officially licensed ones- hmmm, starting to sound more suspect now that I think about it.

The Conan properties stamp is correct. I'm just wondering if this was a Frankensteiner that maybe an Albion employ made up. Not having access to the electrode engraving he did an acid etch?

The explanation sounds buy-able to me... the guy has good feedback. He has been an Ebay member for ages but only started selling this past year it looks like... has bought tons of stuff tho. He sells primarily movie posters... so he might have some connection to a movie studio... this would explain his handle and how he gets these things. He sold another Conan Sword also... but looks like it was likely a marto type. Ebay is often a crap shoot... but I'd feel comfortable with this one... assuming I wanted to pay that much, which I don't.
