Hi All Well its tax return time and after receiving my Gurthang from Brendan at Fable Blades and being over the moon with it (even after the huge delays experienced due to a courier blunder) iv decided to get another sword from Brendan .Now here is the problem ,which to choose ?Here are my 5 choices : Excalibur Felarof Anduril Orcrist Ring Of Fire So were you faced with having to choose from the five above which would you choose ?

I voted Excalibur, though of those, it's between Excalibur and Anduril. They're both good looking swords, but more importantly, I'm hoping Felarof (which, for some reason, I've always read as Fearlof), as well as NeverNever Grow Up, will still be available when I can afford them. *Shifty eyes* But, in all reality, I'd go with either Excalibur or Felarof; I'm not really too fond of any of the rest and if I wanted Anduril, I'd use Brenno's redesign instead since I think it looks much better.

I'd have to give another vote for your own one of a kind custom, BUT out of those Orcrist or Ring of Fire. Leaf blades just make me grin like an idiot. Lol.

I would love to have gone the route of getting something completely new done , but alas with our currency being so volatile I need to choose my purchase times carefully . For example even if I commision something new and it takes 6 weeks to complete and I pay the entire amount up front , I could still potentially be in for a nasty surprise when it arrives here in 7 weeks time because if the currency has weakened I would get hit even harder by our Customs duties and taxes which total like 40% of the swords value !!This makes budgeting difficult ,hence I prefer to order what's available currently .This being said , ill someday get something made from scratch ,would love a Edmund sword (From the First Narnia Movie ) .So for now ill be choosing one of the 5 mentioned in my original post .

SwordFan my preference would be Andruil, the reason being I was hoping to purchase Excalibre in a few weeks. But do not let that stop you getting Excalibre if that is the one you want Swordfan, as I'm sure Brenden can make another.

I voted for Orcrist- from your choices it's either that or Anduril- of course Excalibur is great too...
The thing about Fable Blades is whichever one you are looking at becomes your favourite and the one you must have, until you look at the next one. Then, when you toss in Brother Banzai's bronzework it becomes even more difficult to choose. Add to that all the talent Brenno brings to his own furniture and it's next to impossible to choose... I feel your pain SwordFan and I envy you for having to make this hard decision.

indeed Brenno's blades are top notch, and paired with Jeffreys Bronze work they are what i envision as the best swords out there. Cant wait to own one...but its gonna be quite some time

Just a pity he has so many that I want , ha ha .He is making life tough as Im still undecided ,but iv told him ill give him an answer by tomorrow ,so iv still got the rest of the day today to keep changing my mind .Iv even roped my wife in to ask her which she likes and what she knows about swords is just dangerous ,ha ha . He has me rather ordering custom pieces now as iv abandoned collecting production pieces (unless there is really something that catches my eye) .What I love about his swords are that you know it's not something you see everyday ,very different and you can see all the hard work and hours that go into the making of his swords .The biggest plus is I am a huge lord of the rings fan ,but have never been a fan of the display pieces .Now at last I can get a lord of the rings inspired piece that's really functional and a piece of art in it's own right .Plus his customer service is really top notch and that to me means alot especially when purchasing internationally .
