I now have a lot to look at when I come home today. I see that if you click the picture, they did ahow the price and the ordering information. I only did this on 3 or 4.

Himalayan Imports has their own manufacturers sub forum over at Bladeforums. They usually run a weekly deal on some unique and limited number pieces.
Lots of info on HI and their products in that forum.

Not just weekly. Yangdu posts "deals of the day" which can include custom one-offs, blems, prototypes, etc. I have 9 HI blades, 8 of which came from the deals of the day.

Hey Secosera
What blades do you have from HI ? What do you think about them ?

Let's see,
My HI blades consist of: 2 Chiruwa Ang Kholas. both 16" 1 Ganga Ram, 16" 1 Chiruwa Boomerang Ang Khola, 15" 1 M43, 18" 1 R11 knife, 10" 1 Kerambit, 8" 2 Sirupati, 17" and 20"
I love them all. The 2 16" Ang kholas are great all around choppers. The Boomerang Ang Khola is scary fast and hits the perfect balance between weapon and tool (IMO). The M43 is my favorite. It's like a larger version of the boomerang and can do anything. I'll use the R11 or Kerambit for every day concealed carry. The Kerambit is a great skinning knife and the R11 is a great utility knife that can skin in a pinch. The Sirupati are wicked fast and more suited for martial arts.
If you spend any time on their forums you'll learn about the "addiction." People will literally wait, constantly hitting refresh, for Yangdu to post the new Deal of the day (I know, I used to =P). Each blade is handmade in Nepal and signed by the individual kami (bladesmith). It's a unique setup they have and it seems to work.

Quotes about Gurkhas:
"if a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or a Gurkha." Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, former chief of staff of the Indian Army.
One says that when the kukuri is drawn from its sheath, it is supposed to taste blood.

People also say that about the Katana . Kukri are used more as farm tools and utility blades than weapons. Sean

I was referring to the soldiers with their Kukuri's. It is a legend about the Gurkha's and their Kukuri's.

Hi Sébastien,
I'd recommend the M43. Wait for one to come along in the deal of the day and snag it up. It really is their best blade IMO. It's roots stem from the MkII which got a lot of real use before the Kukri became a secondary weapon.
