Thats a cool post Sargon, I've always wanted to see a video of that. By the way, you should read this great book about the making of the katana, its called, "The craft of the japanese sword" it shows alot of the stuff that was in that video you sent, plus more.

Has anyone been to Japan? Went there twice. One of the coolest places was in Kyoto. 1/4 of the city is closed to cars, and everybody wheres authentic 18th, 17th,century clothing. There was a swordsmith shop there but it was closed.I did see some of there work at a museum later that day. The thing that I remember the most, was this Ninja house tour. I have seen it online, but it just wasn't the same. There was this hidden staircase just like the Adams family, along with dozens of other goodies,it was a blast!!
